The Thesis
RE.ZØED is the practice. SAMSARA is the first collection. I didn't source — I reconstructed.
For this first capsule I upcycled pieces, shoes, and ideas. A thrifted suit, a beat-up trench, a pair of combat boots someone else gave up on. Since this was the first collection where I was learning to sew, I mixed what I knew I could.
The work is in what happens after. Cut, bleach, wax, sumi ink, gold leaf, crystal lacquer, soldering iron, epoxy. What comes out the other side isn't new clothing — it's the same piece having moved through one full cycle of disassembly and rebirth.
We shot SAMSARA in an abandoned underground gymnasium in Bushwick — a poetic setting for a queer community and a cast of characters. I asked my friends to walk in a photoshoot and a runway, and it was a joy to work with chosen family to construct a world where these pieces could come alive.
Nothing is truly new. Only reborn.

Fractured seduction — nylon twisted, tensioned, exposed. The dress was hand-cut and reconstructed for sharp asymmetry. Edges slash like intention. Threads split like signals. Crystalized for structure. The stilettos sprayed in metallic chaos, towering with untamed elegance.
She doesn't appear — she ignites.

Sun-scorched glamour — royal, resilient, radiant. The coat sprayed in metallic gradients and crystal lacquer for texture. Combat pants bleached and over-dyed to channel sand-blasted desertwear — raw, cracked, battle-worn. Gold-leaf boots sealed in epoxy gleam like relics from a collapsed empire.
He doesn't start the war — he ends it.

Sharp, sculptural, subversive. The leather jacket collar restitched and crystalized — glints like armor under pressure. A classic white dress shirt deconstructed into an architectural skirt — raw hems, layered tension. Grounded by towering platform boots scorched in silver spray. Chaos as couture.
She doesn't follow chaos — she creates it.

An oracle in full light — draped in white, marked in gold. The blazer becomes a ceremonial mini, sculpted with gold leaf and dripping gold paint. Textured boots echo fossilized snakeskin with silicone gold-leaf embossed veins.
She doesn't speak prophecy — she wears it.

An archivist of the underground. A classic black suit reimagined as scripted formalwear — mythic, coded, precise. Hand-drawn sacred symbols, hieroglyphs, geometry — invocations of forgotten alphabets. The shirt dyed black anchors the chaos in quiet rebellion.
He isn't dressed — he's encrypted.

A trader from the edge of collapse. A once-ordinary beige trench soaked, sprayed, sanded, sealed — a relic of barter and journey. Paired with distressed pants, it carries the memory of passage through ruin. The result feels excavated from a post-human future.
He doesn't pay — he deals in stories and scars.

Layered, abstract, arcane. A black cotton shirt bleached and brushed by hand; the surface carved by intention. A one-sleeve tuxedo drapes like shadow architecture over a ripped dress. The black skirt swirls in painted white — the aftermath. The boots complete the ritual.
He doesn't hold energy — he conducts it.

Sharp, solemn, encoded. Built around a black cashmere trench with distressed knife pleats carved from memory. The shirt — crisp, ceremonial — bears scripts and markings like sacred instructions. Black trousers extend the message; painted scrolls of resistance.
He doesn't guard a place — he guards a truth.

Minimalist, deeply charged. A long-sleeve mockneck mini that embodies the quiet power of shadow. A charcoal dye gradient rises through the fabric like smoke from within. Paired with hand-painted glyph combat boots, softness meets grounded ritual.

Desert-worn and ceremony-bound. Dyed and bleached to mimic cracked clay, the dress flows with sacred asymmetry — asymmetrically draped, styled with utilitarian ties and uneven hems. The cuts follow no pattern; they move like incense over sand. Script platform boots seal each step like a prayer.
She doesn't follow a path — she makes one.

Ancient and exact. The suit — originally dark blue — coated in titanium white and beaten by brush. A final heat-set fused fiber and intention; turning white into whisps, as if stitched from fog. A sumi ink scarf radiates with symbolic geometry — an invocation of power and place.
He doesn't track time — he wears it like memory.

Ritual of the creator — ripped and covered. The jumpsuit is lived in, not designed. A utilitarian coverall becomes canvas, authenticated by use. Sleeves ripped for movement. Bleached hoodie from past projects. Boots splattered in paint and scuffed by time. Labor made visible.

Ash tones and ritual slits — sacred, scorched. The jacket cropped like an eruption; the skirt hand-draped to mirror lava flow. The turtleneck dyed to feel like dust. Large brush strokes emulate the volcanic explosion — resilience wrapped in ritual and ruin.
She isn't scorched — she is what remains.

Maximalist black-on-black, layered for survival. The leather trench floats over heavily deconstructed pants and a ripped base layer. Jacket etched with soldering iron; jeans dipped in wax — both finished with crystal gloss. Frayed threads, asymmetry, industrial heaviness.
He doesn't settle — he drifts through shadows.
